Basis lighting products are primarily designed for commercial interiors such as shops, exhibition stands & offices. Some of the products are also suitable for the domestic environment. If in doubt please contact sales.
Basis Lighting is ISO9001 approved and all products conform to the required European standards. Certificates are available on request.

Basis Lighting will not disclose any customer information to any third party for any reason.

COMPLAINTS
Basis Lighting Ltd. operate Quality Assurance System ISO 9001 Certificate Number FM 45550.
Our complaints procedure is confidential and complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days. We will keep the customer informed about the likely time it will take to resolve the problem. If it cannot be resolved within 3 months a refund will be issued on the return of the goods supplied. Returned goods might be subject to a handling charge. All goods are guaranteed for 1 year.

Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS
All prices subject to the appropriate rate of VAT. Prices are subject to alteration without notice. Quotations are not binding until an order has been placed and accepted.
Carriage is free on all orders over £1000 if delivered within the UK mainland except the Scottish Highlands. All other deliveries charged at cost.
Any damage or shortage must be notified to us within 3 days of delivery otherwise no claim can be made. No credit will be given for goods which are returned damaged.
Payment must be received within 28 days from date of invoice unless otherwise stated. In the event of a default on payment by the due date the seller reserves the right to charge interest at the current rate, suspend deliveries and terminate trading with the buyer.

RETENTION OF TITLE
All goods and services will remain the property of Basis Lighting Limited until paid for in full. Any receiver or liquidator appointed over the assets of the buyer shall pay any sums received from third parties in respect of goods or services supplied, to the seller. No variations or additions to the conditions shall be binding unless confirmed by the seller in writing.

Who are Basis Lighting?
Basis lighting was established in 1991 and are based in London, UK.
We design and manufacture a comprehensive range of exhibition and retail display lighting.
Our sales office has a showroom and customers are welcome to visit. Please call sales for an appointment.
We are 10 minutes walk from Kentish Town Tube and private car parking is available. View the Map.

What Payment types do you accept?
Basis Lighting accept the following payment cards:
Master Card, Visa, Delta, Switch
…and of course payment by BACS & cheque. All transactions are in UK Pounds Sterling.

Can I open a credit account?
Yes, you can apply for a 30 day credit account. Please submit your full company name and company registration number. If you are a sole trader or a partnership we need their full names and home addresses.

What is your returns policy?
You are allowed a seven day period from receipt of goods in which to return the goods. Please inform us prior to returning the goods. Provided that the goods are returned in goods condition in the original packaging, a credit or refund will be issued within thirty days of the return of the goods. The delivery charge will not be refunded unless there has been a fault with the goods or our service.

How do I return a purchase?
Simply contact Basis sales and ask for a returns number.

What if a purchase arrives damaged?
If any goods you order arrive damaged contact us immediately on +44 (0)20 7284 2040 and we will arrange to have them replaced. Or if you prefer you may cancel your order and return the goods to us.

Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?
Yes. You can cancel an order that has not been dispatched by calling us on +44 (0)20 7284 2040.

Do you deliver outside of the UK?
Basis Lighting delivers all over the world, however there may be an additional charge, contact us directly to find out more.
